Now, before I continue, there is something I must confess. I was a moodboard virgin. GASP! I had never before used polyvore (I’m also a poet….) but after seeing the gorgeous ideas and moodboard created by Sarah, Mallory, and Heather, I wanted to create one as well! I thought about clipping magazing pictures and making a collage and taking a picture of it- because that’s about how techie savvy I am. But I decided to challenge myself and create one for this project. So, please don’t judge me in its moodboardness but just check out the items I selected!
Beth’s home is full of color paired with light walls, and she tends to gravitate towards blue and pink, so I wanted to bring those colors in. I am not much of a pink person myself, so I decided to tone the pink down and give Beth a space in black, white, blue, and blush.
And so that you don’t have to search through my text, I created a list of sources for you here. None are affiliate links- I just like these products- some of which I found, and some I just selected from polyvore (and those would be the ones that are a wee bit steep for this girl). The painting is pricey at $500, but I just adore original art, and this piece is huge- 4 feet wide! It’s worth it completely!
