Come on in…
I am in love with my big, droopy, Grinch-y wreath! I also love that it only cost $7!
It’s actually a strand of garland that I bought from Trader Joe’s and it conveniently came coiled in a circle. I love that it is a little sloppy-looking and different. I put a shimmery gold bow on it and it looks like the Grinch after he starts loving Christmas!
So, I told you that I was going green this Christmas and I mean that in both the color and environmental way. I grabbed a bunch of eucalyptus this year to add other shades of green to our tree and garland wreath. It also smells great! I stuck some all over the house and even IN the tree. Come to find out, Christmas tress are really hard to photograph but hopefully you can see the sprigs I put in and the texture they added.
I went with a more natural/rustic look this year with burlap, greens, and different greenery.
I have to add some more ribbon to the bottom still!
All lit up!
I spy eucalyptus…
Found this great wreath at HomeGoods…it has another shade of green and some shimmery silver on the leaves.
More of the green stuff…
My favorite Christmas decoration!
My little wooden peg nativity scene!
The whole gangs here!
Some other little “friends,” my santa collection…
ps…those are some sticks from my yard and the burlap is held onto that vase with a green rubberband…
see, eco-friendly and inexpensive and green!
I have added a few more that I have found as I unpack. Cutest lil guys!
And a little sparkle on each boy’s door!
Slowly but surely it’s beginning to look real Christmasy around here. I think I may run out tomorrow and grab some more of that garland from Trader Joe’s and maybe even more eucalyptus! What are you using for decorations this year? Anything cheap or FREE?
