DIY: abstract painted lamps
It has ben far too long since I whipped up any kind of DIY project. As you know, I am not the most patient DIYer so I only attempt one when I’m feeling super crafty. Back in April I had the good fortune of heading to High Point market with Lowes and we got to attend a workshop hosted by Eddie Ross. He has been working hard on his new book, Modern Mix (coming out later this year!) so following the theme of his book, the workshop focused on taking thrifted, everyday items and using simple supplies to make them your own.
my favorites of the ORC
Let’s have a show of hands- who spent most of yesterday checking out the One Room Challenge reveals?? (Little hand-raised emoji) Things were kicked off Wednesday with the official 20 sharing their drool-worthy spaces. I loved so many of the make overs but here were a couple that really caught my eye…
Mandy’s loft just blew me away…

Closets are always fun too…I love a good small space reveal!
And I would kill for this kind of glam organization in my house!

Must be something about all these black and white rooms but this kitchen nook by Crane Concept also caught my attention. I love the art and bamboo chairs…

And speaking of magazines…I bet Jennifer’s bedroom will end up in one!

I will end with this dreamy bedroom because after all the excitement I really could use a good night’s sleep and Laura’s bed just calls your name…

There were 120 linking participants so I know this is only scratching the surface! These are just some that jumped out at me but I can assure you there is even more eye candy!
I love that there is such a range of styles and a little something for everyone.
If you didn’t link up maybe you will in the fall?? Linda has already announced the date so you have plenty of time to decide if you are ready to jump on the bandwagon!
