I have to admit I am a little bit nervous about this challenge. I think I have bitten off more than I can chew and for some reason that makes me oddly giddy! So, let’s recap…I got invited to participate in a brand new style challenge by Home Depot. They are calling this one the Outdoor Games Style Challenge and they really want us to use creativity to come up with something fun you can play outdoors. Take Two: White Buffalo Styling Co.
Sometimes you just click with people and Lindsay is one of those for me. It’s weird we have only talked over email because I feel like I could meet up with her tomorrow and it would feel like we go way back. I love her style too and the fact that she totally embraces it. She has worked hard to create the White Buffalo Styling Co. and I know she is going to go really far. She is not swayed by trends or other people’s opinions and that’s so refreshing! Let’s check out some of that style…
Make sure to put her blog, The White Buffalo Styling Co., on your daily list if it’s not there already because you don’t want to miss anything!

what I have been doing in Charlotte
Charlotte suddenly seems like it is bursting with local talent. I seem to meet a new blogger everyday and that’s on top of some of the alumni who have been at it for years (Emily A. Clark, Bryn Alexandra, The Nester…). I got to hang out with my ORC brunch buddies again this past weekend for a little thrifting fun. We headed to VTGCLT, a cool pop up market where there was even more talent to take in. There are tons of vendors with everything from mid-century furniture to handmade jewelry. The highlight of my day was meeting Kathryn Godwin. Because I am a full-fledged Emily Henderson stalker I recognized her right away from this recent post on Emily’s blog. Not only was she my 6 degrees of separation from Emily, she is so uber-talented. Her kind of work is what inspires me almost more than any perfectly decorated room. I love people who can create and her projects just make me want to make stuff.
Here is just one of her inspiring pieces, a paper chandelier…
