I cannot believe 6 weeks has gone by! I started out the ORC very nervous, but I lucked out with THE best client and a very smooth 6 weeks. If you want to go back and catch up from the beginning you can do that here. Now on to the results….
First let’s remember the before…
My clients have a great house on a lake so my foundation was awesome.
They also have great taste and are being careful to walk that fine line between rustic and lodge.
They custom built this house and chose some really great details!
These chairs stayed as well as a leather sectional they had purchased already.
And here we are today…
I love all of Pottery Barn’s oversized lighting right now.
This floor lamp, although it’s hard to tell in the picture, is huge,
but worked great in such a large-scale room.
My topiaries worked out fine so I didn’t have to use my back ups.
And I finally got to use the West Elm herringbone mirror that I have lusted over for months.
I love the layers of mirrors and touches of gold.
Can you imagine their fireplace this winter?!
And I can’t wait until that little nook is filled with logs!
I left some tags on and frames empty for them to finalize.
Luckily it is all staying and they can add their personal touches.
I went with empty bowl 🙂
We layered two rugs to create some coziness…
This room was all about textures to play off of the natural elements of the house.
Tons of pattern, mixed metals, and roughed up wood…
And, of course, the most beautiful backdrop ever!
Thanks again for being the best clients during such a tight timeframe!
And thanks to Linda at Calling it Home for opening the ORC to everyone this year.
I am actually really sad it’s over but my wheels are already spinning for the spring edition.
And to all the new people that found my blog through the ORC, I hope you’ll stick around-
I have so enjoyed reading all your sweet comments and the more the merrier around here!
Here’s all the paces you can stalk me…
