So it’s officially the end of June which means a total mix of emotions for me. On one hand it’s my birthday (today!) and I always love a birthday but it’s also means summer is one month closer to being over. How does July always get here so soon?! The craziness of May, thankfully, feels like a distant memory but this month really went too fast. The mere thought of getting back to a regular routine and pace sounds, just wrong. I have been so checked out from the blog and social media for the most part (good gosh it’s nice to take a step back from that world!) but I have certainly had my eye on a few online goodies. Here’s what I have been loving in June…
IKEA table: I have always loved this side table especially with a quick coat of gold spray paint on the legs! It’s also on sale for under $70 right now.
Palm pillow & Sun pillow: There’s still plenty of hot weather ahead so these summery pillows are the perfect addition to a chair or couch indoor or out.
Storage ottoman: This is a great little accent piece that could hide a throw or toys.
Ice straws: These would be a nice addition to my drinks in this sweltering southern heat!
Vase: This is one of two orange things on my list which shocks me because I rarely gravitate to that color but it’s just so bright and happy.
Candle sconces: Totally obsessed with these shape sconces. I am brainstorming a place to hang them!
Metal outdoor table: I can’t get over how great this outdoor table is! I would seriously consider bringing it in a dining room.
Block print rug: I love this casual beachy rug!
Floral bedding: I just thought this bedding was so fun. For the price it could be a fun thing to rotate in and out of a guest room.
Light: I was shocked to find this light when perusing a kids site. So grown up cool!
Bar cabinet: This is a great piece and I love the faux leather detail. I also love that it is under $300!
Ecodeer vases: These wall-mounted vases are just too cool!
Indigo pillow: I love this boho print pillow. Can never have too much indigo!
Spiked Seltzer: This may be the most important product on my whole list. Do yourself a favor and find this at your grocery store. So light and refreshing and perfect for poolside.
Oriental rug: I love the colors in this rug. The larger sizes get pricey but a small one would be doable…maybe under a desk or in a kitchen.
Pom pom espiradrilles: These are just too cute. I am not even usually an orange fan but this color has so much pep for summer.
Wild and Free: I have heard great things about this book and I am planning to dive in on our beach trip.
Neutral bedding: I have been debating swapping my bedding for something more neutral for a little bit. This duvet is high on my list.
Secretary: I have long wanted an old-school secretary but it’s really hard to snag just the right antique piece. This modern day one, with it’s precious little blue drawers, is so so perfect!
Tuck it in My Tux: This nail color from O.P.I brings me back to about 1997 when I was cruising with my best girlfriends with not a care in the world. We may have actually been using white out!
Beach art: The aerial beach art trend has been going strong and the good thing about that is that there are now versions at a much lower price point. This one is right at $100!
Printed drum shade: I am not in the market for a light but this shade is just so cool!

If you are still hanging with me and reading this post I wanted to end on a personal note. This summer so far has been so good for my soul. It’s so easy during the year to get caught up in the daily rush and forget how to just be. It hit me while I was pushing Harper on a swing one day, I didn’t have a thought in my head. I wasn’t mentally composing an email or figuring out when I would get my errands run. I was just there pushing a swing and I realized how nice that is and, sadly, how rare during the year. I am so thankful that I am able to take this break during the summer. Thankful for relaxed and patient clients, thankful for my husband busting his butt so I don’t have to carry the financial burden, and thankful for the gentle nudges that help remind me what’s really important…
Like finding the tiniest grape in the bunch (SO my child )
Beach bummin’ it…
Picnics in the park…
Time when my head is not elsewhere…
Happy Birthday to me!
