December has been a whirlwind with two trips, two birthdays, and the usual hustle and bustle of the season. I want to catch you all up on all of that and more but I thought I would first share the final reveal of my kids bathroom makeover. Here is a little recap…
Before
It was a green eye sore with a splash of chevron and one seriously ugly vanity.
The Plans
The plans included new paint, lots of art, a vanity makeover, and fun!
Choosing Art
I partnered with Land of Nod to curate a fun gallery wall.
I shared some of my favorites picks form their enormous selection here.
I actually tackled this project back during the same time as the One Room Challenge because I am a glutton for punishment 😉 No actually I just was already full force into the ORC and in a mood to get things done so I decided to go for it. I am so glad I did because this room has long been one of my least favorite in our house.
After
This room is near impossible to photograph with its lack of windows but my photographer
Ariana Clare did great capturing all the features basically in the dark!
One of my favorite changes to this room is the new vanity! I never liked the original so I was so excited to turn an old mid-century modern dresser into our new vanity. You read all about the transformation in my eHow article!
I will follow up with more details on all the products you see in the room but I don’t want to make this post any longer today! So what do you think?? Did we improve from the green?
*Thanks to Land of Nod for supplying art for this project! As always all opinions are 100% my own!
