In less than 24 hours I will be on my way to New York City for the Better Homes and Gardens Style Maker event! I have been staring into my closet and keep getting stuck between my affinity for comfort and my desire to look at least a little more put together than preschool drop off. I need something fun, stylish comfortable, and me to wear for the actual event. No pressure, right?! I swear if Instagram didn’t exist we probably wouldn’t even care what we wore! #sadbuttrue
I’ve never been a girl who likes to get ready alone so I thought it would be fun to pretend to be a fashion blogger today and share some outfits. And I need all of you stylish ladies to weigh in on what I should wear. The actual event is an all day hands-on workshop and we will have limited time to change before dinner. Ready, set, go….
Look 1: palm print culottes, crop top (but I swear it barely shows any belly!!)
Look 2: gingham dress, army vest, booties
Look 3: striped fitted midi, denim vest, blue heels
Look 4: bird shift dress, army vest, booties
Look 5: ikat skirt, army vest (it goes with everything!), booties or heels
A group of us are going to dinner Wednesday and I am pretty sure I am going to wear this midi dress…
I think I am going to wear this for my visit to the One Kings Lane studio…
One thing I have never needed help with is the comfy clothes…got my plane outfits down!
And please do yourself a favor and go get the most comfortable pants in the land- these Target joggers are heavenly!
