Hello lovers. So, it’s Tuesday and I am still waiting for my sleep hangover from the weekend to go away. I stayed out til 2:00 am on Saturday for my sister’s birthday and I still don’t feel quite right. It’s the true sign of getting older when you constantly check your watch at a bar to calculate how many precious minutes of sleep are getting wasted. Anyway, I am proclaiming this my week to get out of the blogging slump! A couple of things should surely help….

I went shopping and the stores did not disappoint. IKEA in particular had a hold on my wallet. They have tons of fresh spring stuff out and the garden department was busting with plants. I stocked up! I also finally bought some things for Taylor’s office. He challenged me this weekend to get it done but the end of the week. He knows I love me a design challenge. Especially when he’s paying 🙂

I am heading to Furbish this weekend!! I tried back in the fall and showed up only to realize the store was closed. This time I am not playing around…seriously when Taylor booked our hotel room he double-checked Furbish’s hours at the same time. If Mrs. Meares is in the house I may go into convulsions.

And last, the sure medicine for my soul these days….the Spring One Room Challenge is kicking off in one week! April 2nd all 20 amazing designers will be unveiling their plans for this go-round and then April 3rd all of the link-up participants will unveil theirs. Thankfully, Linda has opened the doors to this madness to all of us. Last time I put the finishing touches on a client’s living room (see more here), but this time I am keeping it closer to home. I am conquering a project in my own house and I am so excited! It’s sad that chaos and pressure bring me joy. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in the works. I will be giving you more details next Thursday during the link-up.
