If you saw yesterday’s reveal of our Southend Porch project then you might be dreaming of an outdoor space of your own! I know I have been since completing that space! One thing we didn’t need for that project was outdoor art because the only two non-screen walls already had a tv and wet bar. If we had the wall space I would have most-definitely added a piece from Exposed.
Having decorated outdoor spaces before, I know that art sources are limited. Typically you find the run-of-the-mill iron wall decor so I was thrilled when I learned about Exposed. Here is a little about the company in their words…
Exposed is a unique, custom-designed process developed for original art to withstand the outdoor elements.
Childhood friends Meredith Covington and Nan Jones created Exposed, inspired by a love for the outdoors and yearning to complement the trend of outdoor living.
Realizing the void of existing outdoor art (which should not be defined by re-purposed wagon wheels/driftwood, or shipwrecked captain wheels), they determined that painted art should be moved outside as the perfect complement to defining the special outdoor space.
Whether private residence, poolside, oceanfront home, or mountain cabin…these pieces are intended for those with an appreciation of both art and the outdoor environment.
What has transpired are pieces with clean, fresh, and organic palette styles that will only enhance the beauty of your outdoor space.
And the pieces are so pretty! Even though they are specifically made to endure all elements of weather, I could see these adorning walls inside as well!
I am lucky enough to know the brains and talent behind this company and I had a chance to see them while in Highpoint this year! Nan (the artist) and Meredith (the biz guru) both went to high school with me and it has been so fun to see their business take off! They have recently started adding artists to their roster and now Exposed features lines by Holly Graham and Anna Vaughn Kincheloe
I am partnering with Exposed to give one lucky winner their very own piece of custom art! Head on over to my instagram feed to see the gorgeous piece and find out how to enter (so simple!)
