When I move Oliver and Sullivan into their shared room I will be eliminating our playroom. This means I need to get very creative with our toy storage. I still want them to feel like they have a place to go play and make their disaster but I also want to be able to put everything away at the end of the day.
Like probably 4 million other parents, we purchased some of these beauties for storage…
We stacked two of them together for quick inexpensive storage.
We use these fabric drawers…
I know. Design magic, right?
I have been so ready to toss this system to the curb but this morning I had a thought on how to recycle the shelving unit. I mean after all it does still function and I could use the extra room for toys and junk.
I am thinking of using them in this fashion…

I will have endless options for covering the backs…paint, paper, mirror, photos, etc. And It will keep things off the floor. Recycle and reuse, right people?? What have you recycled lately?
