This Waterlogue app is spreading like wildfire! I have not been able to stop “painting” my pictures ever since I found out about it. I have shared some on Instagram but here are a few others I love…
You could honestly take a picture of your shoe and it would look good! I decided to print some as actual photos and see how they turned out. I uploaded the pictures to my Shutterfly account and then had them printed in matte. I figured the matte finish would come out looking more like a painting. I am really happy with the quality. In fact I was so happy that it motivated me to finally create a gallery wall in my office…
I used a mix of photos, cards, DIY art, and my Waterlogue photos. I love how these prints are still sentimental photos but look like a pretty piece of art. And I chose some hanging methods that will make these easy to swap out….if say, I create a few hundred more. Aside from washi tape and Command Picture Hanging Strips, I used some trouser hangers from The Container Store. I was going to hang the hangers from a nail but the walls in this room are made of plaster (i.e., like hammering into steel) so I just attached the back of the hanger to the wall with a Command strip. I just pop them open and slide in a new picture whenever the mood strikes. Here’s a breakdown of what’s hanging on my non-commital easily changed (like your college boyfriend) wall…
On The Highline in NYC
Flying over the Brooklyn Bridge and a vignette from my house.
Harper // the boys in front of the Charlotte skyline
Sullivan’s Island beach (my favorite place on earth)
My bathroom sconce.
This pillow from Land of Nod.
My DIY leaf art.
A framed love note.
So go ahead and take that Waterlogue addiction to the next level.
Print yourself some actual prints and see the magic in real life!

So fun! The bathroom sconce is too cool, but the sweet note tops everything!!
