I have recently started reading more again. I go through phases but it has become my motivation for getting to bed earlier. I have no real rhyme or reason to the books I choose. Right now I am in the middle of Swapping Lives which is a few years old but I love it. It’s about a stay-at-home mom who gets a chance to swap lives with a footloose and fancy free single girl. A good look at the whole grass is always greener theory. I want to spend a little time understanding the Bible more this year and I have heard 30 Days… is pretty good. I recently read JoJo Moyes’ You Before Me and totally love her sense of humor so I am excited about another one of hers. And I have heard that I am missing out not having read any Carl Hiaasan so I am going to give it a whirl. The rest are just ones that I have either heard about or that sounded good. I will let you know as I read them. What’s on your list? Any good ones I need to add to mine?

Oh…thanks for the tips! I just downloaded Stormy Weather to my Nook…love Carl Hiaasen. I am currently reading In the Company of the Courtesan by Sarah Dunant. It is a period piece about Italy…recommended by a friend to read before my trip to Milan/Venice in April!

Oh Laura, I don't know if I could read a book like that without a trip in the works! So jealous!!

I always need a good book recommendation, thanks for a great list! I bought my daughter a couple of Carl Hiaasen's children's books for Christmas. I'll have to check his out!
