Today my house tour continues with my master bedroom.
It’s where the magic happens. And by “magic” I mean it is where I magically disappear from my kids!
It really is my little sanctuary and even though there is still a list of things to be done
(gallery wall of some sort, roll-down shade project, curtain tweaks, etc.),
I love my serene escape!
In the keeping it real spirit, here are the areas that still need some lovin…
Yes, I am totally aware that I have broken design rule numero uno by not hanging my curtain rod at the ceiling. It’s on “the list.”

ps… box fan included for no extra cost!!
We can also work out something with that laundry on the bathroom floor if you are interested!
If you are interested in where I found anything you see just email me!

So so pretty! I can see why you like to go there to get away from the kids!

Thanks Lindsey! I certainly couldn't have done it with a 6 week deadline like you…I'm too big of a procrastinator 🙂

I would happily sacrifice a limb to have my bedroom looking like this right about now. Currently I have a rug (yay!) with a box spring and mattress on it (boo!) Bed is on order, not expected until Sept. No nighstands, no lamps, wall of boxes opposite the bed. It's about an un-serene as you can get.
Congrats on the baby! When are you due? I haven't started the nursery AT ALL either so don't stress. There are about 40 boxes in the future nursery at the moment. If only I could figure out a way to design a chic nursery out of cardboard…

Well at least you have a rug! Focus on the positives, right?! One day at a time, it most definitely takes at least a year to settle in and a lifetime to get it all decorated! I am due late October so I have some time but I just don't know what direction I want to go now that I am having a girl after 2 boys. Do you know what you are having yet??

It looks great to me! You know, there really is no such thing as a "finished" room. And there is definitely no such thing as finished laundry.

Yay for master bedroom reveals! Beth, your bedroom is so serene and beautiful! I love that style headboard – and as the above commenter mentioned, there is no such thing as a "finished" room – we are always tweaking something!

I know! I have tweaked even since those pictures 🙂
