I thought I should be really honest and just say I love getting new things. I know that’s materialistic and not the reason we celebrate Christmas but shoot, I like opening presents! Over the next couple of Fridays I am going to share some of my favorite gift ideas and I thought I would kick it off with the things I am coveting (just in time for some of those Black Friday sales too!)…
I’m going big on this one but hey why not?! I really love this couch!
This is the perfect winter rug and don’t we need a different rug for each season? Hush Taylor.
I love these bells. They would be such a cool wall hanging and conversation-starter!
Now’s a perfect time to add to your accessories stash. These bookends would look perfect on my bookshelves (and yours!) Peer pressure…let’s do this!
Hardware is one of my favorite quick makeovers! These knobs are so pretty!
Another interesting, one-of-a-kind piece!
I met the author of this book back in September at the BHG Stylemaker event and she is as nice as she is talented! I love how pretty her recipes are too!
I think it’s time I stopped carrying my phone around the track! I need one of these arm bands.
Speaking of needs, I love these shades! A little retro but still modern.
(I really like the darker tortoise color too!)
Because planners and me go together like peanut butter & jelly!
I love the lighter wash of these jeans and I have felt them in real life and they are the softest denim!
I could live in this sweater! A perfect buffalo plaid and super comfy!
I am also obsessed with this white cape coat. It is so pretty and perfect for dressier outfits!
I would love to update some of my kitchen utensils. These are so cool!
I would also love to add this mini cast iron skillet…
lots of skillet chocolate chip cookies in my future no doubt!
This cuff is through a really cool non-profit company called Fashion Compassion. I was introduced to it a couple of weeks ago through my church and I love the concept.
They outsource all of their jewelry and products (they carry home, men’s, fashion, etc) to impoverished areas around the world, creating jobs for local woman (an some men). These women would otherwise have to work extremely rigorous and sometimes dangerous jobs for very little pay. I love the idea of these women getting a chance to work in a creative way while also providing for their families and ensuring a better future for their local economy. 95% of all profits go directly back into their community. That’s awesome!
They set up a whole shop at our church and I had already bought so much that I left this cuff behind but I am doing some serious hinting to one Mr. Barden in hopes that it ends up under the tree! Take a look at their site– there are so many great gifts and I love that there is meaning behind them!
Happy shopping today!
