Yesterday I showed you a quick change I made in our den in which I used faux boxwood letters to spell H-O-M-E. I love using words and letters to create a fun graphic statement in a room. There are obviously endless options of what you can spell and I love that it can be any word that has specific sentimental meaning to your home and family. I also love that you can do this for very little money. I have used cardboard letters wrapped in yarn for a personal touch at this rehearsal dinner.
And I have seen them used in a variety of ways in just about every room in a house…
painted or stenciled
wooden and metal

I was feeling wordy this weekend I guess because I just couldn’t pass up this little wooden plaque I found, in of all places, the Target $1 bin! I love the simple contrast of white on black and it just so happens to match Sullivan’s nursery…
I am lucky to have two little boys that are my sunshine this Valentine’s Day!
As well as a husband who puts up with me and loves me year after year.
Lucky girl!
Hope you all are having a LOVEly day!
