Every time I start a new project I have such a mix of excitement and nerves.
I am grateful that someone is even considering me to decorate their home and my mind starts quickly racing with ideas…images from magazines, Pinterest inspiration, and sometimes a random idea I think of on the fly.
But it never fails, the second I get home from their house, I begin to get anxious.
My stomach flip-flops and I start worrying that I can’t do it.
With every new project I hope to become a little more confident, not only after I see the results but before I even dive in.
Do nerves ever get the best of any of you?
What are your little words of wisdom that give you the boost you need?
Here is one of my favorites…so simple.
Have a great weekend!

I love, "She believed she could so she did". It is a very strong affirmation. I say, "I AM the expert stager!" on the way to an appointment. We don't know everything; however we are the expert of our own unique point of view.

I do get nervous myself when meeting new clients or presenting design plans. There are so many things to get right, right? And really, it's decorating, and that should be fun! Have a great weekend, my friend!

It should be fun, and it is once I stop torturing myself with the "what-if's", ha ha! Have a great weekend too!

Just do it! If we are all honest, I think this happens to everyone. We know what we want to do … but it's the "will they like it" nerves that get me!! Just keep doing what you love and it will be a success!! xo
