I am on the home stretch of my pregnancy. We’re talking less than 3 weeks at this point, so it probably comes as no surprise that this year I didn’t even pull out my fall decor. I did want to spruce up my door a little so I did a quick wreath make-over.
I had a twig wreath sitting around, I think I originally paid $2 for it at Goodwill, and I also had some cans of white and black spray paint so I went to work.
Ever since I painted my mudroom rug I have been loving the simplicity of black and white so I decided to carry it over to my front porch.
Oliver helped me collect some leaves from our yard and I attached them with a ribbon I had on hand.
Oliver loved finding fall leaves so much that he collected a whole bag for me so I also put those around the house.
That’s my small nod to fall this year along with the pumpkins we picked out today!

Beth, three weeks —she will arrive in no time….
Can't wait to see the "Third" pumpkin snuggled up with the boys. I see that the pumpkin has already been purchased.

Oh my gosh, you are so freaking cute!! Wish I'd looked that good 3 weeks from D-day! I love your black & white wreath! Very chic. Shoot, after fall you could pull the leaves off and use it year round if you wanted to. Great job!

great idea for a wreath! I have a clear storm door and its tight in between my door and storm door so a lot of wreaths don't fit. I currently have an oval wreath out that is natural brown but never thought to paint it with stripes. I like it! Thanks beth-

Something like this would work great for a narrow space. The stripes could not have been easier so go for it!
