{Moodboard Monday}
Every fall I get the urge to make my house feel super cozy. I want only things that feel/look warm like metallics, natural wood, and furry things. This year I am stuck on this indigo and plum color combo. It’s so warm and rich and goes perfectly with the earthier elements. Here are some of my favorites accessories if you want to make some quick and easy fall updates…
Rings pillows: These pillows are so pretty with just a hint of sheen. Rotating in and out different pillows is my favorite quick way to reaccessorize each season. Taylor thinks a closet full of throw pillows is an issue but I disagree.
Planter: When things start turning brown and dead outside I need a little green inside to perk things up! Adding in a new planter is a nice way to keep things fresh and feeling alive even though its dreary outside.
Wall hanging: I love these woven wall hangings and this navy color is perfect for bringing in some deeper shades. The wool fringe just feels cozy!
Hammered brass coffee table: Now, I know a coffee table is exactly a piece you just swap out on a whim but if you’re looking for a bigger change this table is so pretty. I can imagine the glow it creates next to a fire!
Wood beads: This accessory is my favorite of the round up because it is a twofer…they are actually bracelets so you can wear them or just leave them sitting pretty on a tray or bowl. It’s just a cool touch to have them as part of a little vignette. The raw wood feels very outdoorsy!
Copper basket: Pillows and baskets are my love language! This one is fun for extra firewood, magazines, throw blankets, etc.
Ikat bowl: I am always swapping around bowls for catching keys, mail, candy, a candle, etc. I love the pretty plum pattern on this one!
Art: Art is another way you can change up the look of your room for each season. The key is to find inexpensive pieces that you love so the change is not a blow to your wallet. I love the deep colors of this floral print!
