I am taking a little break from my Take Two series since I am a little busy right now. Partly because of the One Room Challenge (I am participating in the link up) and partly due to the response to my spring design board deal. I have a whole slew of new clients and I am having so much fun putting together plans for them. Here is a current e-design plan I have been working on for a powder room. I always offer a plan and an alternate plan because sometimes you just want options. My client ended up using some pieces from both of these boards….
I was working with their existing wall color and vanity. Y’all, their house is amazing! The family business is cabinetry and custom wood-working so their house is completely decked out with some of the best trim and wood details you can imagine! Luckily you will get to see more as we are planning to work on several rooms over the next few months. They are a young couple with little kids so they really want to add in some more casual, lived-in elements to all of the custom work. This type of project is so up my alley because I love to add in the layers and personal pieces.
Some of my favorite go-to companies for these things are Dash & Albert and Ballard Designs. Both offer those accessories that are breezy and casual while still being tailored. And obviously Target is always full of the baskets, trays, and stuff.
If you would like a little e-design help I am still offering my spring deal through the next couple of months. I am currently scheduling clients for May/June.
