During the summer I try to step back a little from design clients and projects. I also blog a little less just because having three kids home all day makes it pretty impossible to carry on my regular schedule. And that’s fine with me because I like the slower pace and being able to just hang out with my kids. But, I do find myself missing the fun of projects so I decided to come up with a new summer series. I hand-picked a talented group of bloggers, some are old friends and some are brand new to me and all of them are super-talented!
This crew is so talented and just in case you aren’t familiar with anyone here is a break down

The plan is to fill your summer with easy DIY ideas! Twice a month we will each create a DIY based on that week’s theme. You can see the schedule and themes below because we want all of you to play along as well! There will be a link-up each week where you can include your project.
June 4th: IKEA hack
June 18th: Thrifted
July 9th: Wildcard
July 23rd: Craft store
August 6th: Tool store
August 20th: Found in Nature
If you don’t have a blog but still want to play along you can also post pictures of your project on Instagram with #DIYSummerSchool.
The fun begins next week with our IKEA hacks. We will take our favorite IKEA finds and put our own spin on them so make sure to check out everyone’s projects and share your own!
I can’t wait to see all of the creativity!
