Even in the blog world the rule of 6 degrees of separation applies. Just the other day I was reading one of my favorite mom blogs: Little Pink Monster and came across a post about kids painting. She had just let her young girls create some art and did so with some tips from another one of my favorite blogs: Lil Blue Boo. Both inspired me to let my kids have some fun of their own. I would have never thought to only let them use colors in the same family. This was a great recommendation as it kept things from just turing into a big, brown blob. Even my 20-month-old was able to create something beautiful! After the art dried we hung them in our house. The boys were so proud and the canvases have brightened up our kitchen. I plan to do this again throughout the year so we have art from different stages and ages…
