I am in the midst of several time-consuming client projects (happily and thankfully!) but I have noticed that when I have lots of design-related thoughts on my mind, I like to try to balance them out with non-design-related thoughts. Lately I have struck gold on lounge wear and good snacks and it’s only right to share those kinds of things.
This sweater is like a hug. I could live in it this fall and it’s on sale right now for $17!
I am 0 for 2 on boots though right now. I am dying for a good everyday, flat boot but these two did not work. This Steve Madden pair fit really oddly…it slipped on the heel but was really tight on the calf. There would be no way to wear them over jeans. The color was perfect though.
These fit fine but the color was more grey than taupe and I already own a pair pretty similar.
I am on pair #3 and I am hoping these are a winner. I decided to try a flat bootie style so fingers crossed.
I bought all three from Nordstrom and they have all arrived really quickly and have been a breeze to return in the store.
To soothe my boot depression I have been doing a lot of early evening lounging. I asked my sister if it says something bad that I have been looking for pajamas that can pass as regular clothes. That makes me scared for the phase I am moving into but I can’t lie- these fleece pants are very cozy and look an awful lot like passable pants. I bought them in black and grey.
To complete the look I bought these slippers at Target.
While lounging I like a good snack. This little tub is lovingly called crack dip between my friends and I. It is stupid good!
Those are my new favorite finds this week. In addition to snacking, lounging, and working I am trying to get outfits ready for our family photo session later this week. It is a task to find 5 outfits that coordinate but don’t match that are comfortable but look put-together. Lots of dark denim for this crew! If I get a chance I will share what we are wearing and will also ask for prayers that we get one decent picture!! That’s it for today on the blog front.
