It’s true…by baby #3 you really aren’t as worried about the little stuff. For my first child I had the nursery done months in advance. We had done the hospital tours, taken the classes, washed all the clothes, and had my bag packed. Aside from the classes, it was basically the same story for my second.
This third time around is a wee bit different. I have yet to pull out the bottles from my attic, I haven’t taken any belly pictures, and my husband and I just discussed this weekend whether or not three carseats are going to fit across our backseat!! The nursery has a long way to go too. At the end of the day, I know that we will get by fine! But I do need to make some final decisions and I need your help.
I need to get my glider reupholstered and I HAVE to order the fabric, like yesterday! I am torn between two….
This was my first-choice but then I found another option that is local (i.e. no wait for delivery)
Not a great picture but the pink is the same hue as the polka dot option.
I know it’s hard to decide without seeing the whole room so here is the design board that pretty closely represents what we are doing in there…

Premier prints all the way, probably cheaper and local. My baby girls crib skirt is suzani!
My Crafty Home Life says
Wait for the spoonflower one.

I like the spoonflower too! How old are your other 2 kids? Have you heard of the bubble bum? It's great for travel and you can easily fit 3 carseats across.

I am leaning toward my first choice too. I love the suzani but it may be too busy with the stencil i ended up doing on the wall. Charmaine, I have never seen those but it could be great for us. My older two are almost 6 and almost 3 so I think at least my oldest could use it. Thank you!!

The spoonflower spotted fabric feels lighter, brighter, more fun and more versatile to me. I could see the suzani print as a pillow with the dotter fabric on the chair. That you have two dot / spot designs on your mood board suggests to me that dots are what you want but the suzani meets your deadline better. It will be lovely either way cause the room will be filled with the sweetness of baby #3.

hands down! wait for the spoonflower fabric. I love it!!!

I'm leaning toward the spoonflower fabric, mainly because the white background is so clean like the rest of the room. But the practical mom side of me remembers getting spit-up on our recliner and would probably have died if that happened on that fabric so…maybe #2. Really I'm no help. But I have seen #2 in person and I do like it too!

#1…by far!

love the movement of the spoonflower choice. The suzani feels like too much with the hygge wallpaper, but hard to say without seeing the actual scale.
Cute room!!

I like the first one based on what I've seen of the nursery so far. Find a way to treat it for lots of, uh, liquids:)

I love yall!! I started second-guessing the polka dot bc I was afraid it was too boring/girly/expected/etc. but your comments have sealed the deal! I really needed this push and now I am off to order!
pam {simple details} says
Just in case…one more for the pink dots! 🙂

yah! I think by now the polls have closed and I'm seeing a "previously recorded" version of how things played out but just to add my two cents…i absolutely love the spoonflower dots. They're a hip version of dots and they're fun and crisp. And like stated above, you can still use the other fabric for an accent pillow! Either way you can't go wrong
How long til baby #3?
desingpostinteriors@hotmail.com says
I am really tempted to use that other fabric somewhere now! Less than a month for #3!

My rug is confirming the fact that I, unlike you, am not a painter!!

The polka dot is adorable and different than the ikat – so I say polka all the way.
