I have an obsessive desire for things to be as honest and real as they can get.
I have just never had the patience for putting on airs…it takes too much effort.
When it comes to the blog world it is especially draining because scmucks like me end up reading
the BS and convincing myself that I will never amount to anything.
That’s why I love it when I come across a blog where the person seems to be super honest and real about their life. If they do that and still have talent coming out of the ears, I can handle it.
Nothing beats a good balance of showing off your talent and letting us all know that you still walk around all day with toilet paper on your shoe.
So to practice what I preach, I am going to do a little post I like to call…
“Come Clean Fridays”
I am quite sure that no one has mistakenly come to the conclusion that I am perfect but I would still like to share a little behind-the-scenes-action from around here.
The comments section is waiting for you…
Leave a little dirt on yourself so I don’t feel like a loser alone.
I encourage all forms of self-sufficiency and creativity in my kids.
Especially when it keeps them entertained while I get things done.
Test out those plastic roller-skates? Sure honey!
Roller-skates and flip-flops??
Sounds excellent to me!!
Did I watch him out the window and laugh hysterically when he fell within 5 minutes?
Yes! Yes I did!
I was never a devoted reader of Domino magazine.
Phewww, I feel better already just saying that to you all.
I just never read the thing so I am also not one of those cool design people who gets misty every time the now-defunct publication gets brought up.
Want the cherry on top??
I refuse to buy that special edition that just came out because it is like 15 bucks!
I don’t wash my face every night before bed.
I know, I know, I have only myself to blame when I look like Magda one day 🙁
As for this last confession, I am looking for some help.
What face wash do you swear by? Anything I can grab at Target that will make me appear more like Jennifer Aniston?
