Back in November I shared that I was working on my very first commercial space. Although the thought of commercial office design was a little intimidating I decided to give it a whirl!
Here is a look back at some snapshots I shared as we hashed out the details of the cabinet color, paint, cement flooring shades, and cubicle fabric.
This was my first venture into commercial finishes like laminate, cement, and cubicle swatches. I was mainly just a point person on choosing complimentary colors and giving input on the overall look. We worked from this inspiration image:

Here is a before of the lounge area:
And the kitchen:
It was very bare bones and needed lots of TLC. There was lots of brick, which is cool but they wanted to open some of it up and create an industrial glass wall between the work areas and lounge. Here is where things stand today…
I love how the cement floors turned out and the glass divider wall makes all the difference!
They are also working on adding some of these cool handcut maps representing all of the cities in which they have locations. Commercial details are definitely a little less exciting to me than residential but I love how their space is turning out!
I will share the completed afters once all the details are in place! What do you think- is residential or commercial design more fun? If you had an office space what style would you go for:
Industrial? Glam? Boho? A mix?
