Well I have dragged myself back from the turkey and am trying to get back in the swing of things. Or more like, throw myself into the whirlwind of things, right? You can tell that Thanksgiving is long gone and the fury of December has begun. I’m doing my best to prepare for month of good memories instead of stress but it’s a struggle for me too. Both of my boys have December birthdays and I have several projects in full-swing right now so a lot of deep breathing is in order.
I am so in love with a couple of rooms I am currently working on, one living room in particular. This is a new client who I have quickly decided is a dream! She is a jewelry designer and has such a good eye so it is so easy to make decisions together. And she is fearless with her choices so it has been a blast! We began with her kitchen, which I will share more as soon as it is photographed, and then after those renovations we decided to work on the living room. These two rooms open up to each other so it was important to make them cohesive. It was also important that we were able to marry her glam/vintage taste with some masculine touches so that her husband didn’t feel like he was living in a bachelorette pad!
Working around some existing pieces, I presented this overall mood board…
