Last month I decided to revamp my home office with a little blush paint. I have loved the peachy pink shade for a long time and knew it would be the breath of fresh air the room needed. Unfortunately I did not realize how tricky it would be to choose the perfect blush. I went through almost $100 dollars of samples and stared at the swatches until my eyes hurt. Luckily I can use my trial and error for good and share my favorites with you all. All of these colors are beautiful and could easily read soft blush in your room depending on your lighting and floor color.
Our perfect color ended up being Champagne Glee!
Our hardwoods have orange undertones so any of the paint samples with more orange undertones read really pumpkin in the room. Our room also gets tons of natural light so any of the really faint blush samples were too washed out and almost looked white in the room.
These are the paints that were really pretty and would be worth a try if you are looking for a blush paint:
1. Valspar Rodeo Dust
2. Sherwin Williams Romance
3. Valspar Soft Stone
4. Valspar Desert Bone
5. Benjamin Moore Queen Anne Pink
6. Benjamin Moore Early Sunset
7. Valspar Champagne Glee
8. Benjamin Moore Pink Moire
9. Sherwin Williams Malted Milk
What are your favorite blush paints? I would love to see how you have used this dreamy color!
That meant, first and foremost, changing the paint color.
I decided to go with Sherwin Williams Alpaca. I used this color in my recent hallway refresh…
It’s a great neutral greige with just a hint of lavender.
But paint isn’t all this bathroom needed so I quickly went to work on an idea board…
