I have been awful about taking “belly shots” this pregnancy so I thought I would share one…
This is the biggest my belly has been out of my three pregnancies.
I just don’t think my skin can stretch another centimeter!!
Oliver and Sullivan are really excited about meeting their sister, especially Oliver.
He has asked to stay home from school when she is born which I definitely plan to let him do.
With him being almost 6 I know he will be able to understand and remember this special time and it is going to be so cool for me to get see him go through it all.
Sullivan just mirrors anything Oliver does so I know he will be excited too.
I am getting really excited too.
Not sure if I shared the whole process with all of you, but we had a bumpy road getting to this pregnancy. I have had two really awful (are there any other kind?!) miscarriages and both times I ended up losing a fallopian tube. The second time was such a shock to me and really affected me more because it meant I no longer could just get pregnant on my own. Luckily I had two healthy sons to look at during that time but it was rough.
God lined things up just perfectly for us though and we had a really easy time with IVF…
no real side effects, good insurance coverage, and a successful first round.
For Him to give us a girl has really been the cherry on top.
I can’t believe how much difference a year can make considering a year ago at this time I was in a ball in my bed. I love knowing there is always a greater plan in action. I am so grateful and can’t wait to see how she changes our family! And I of course can’t wait to share it all with you!

How I love that sweet photo with Sullivan … your interaction with him in the shot is perfect. I know what you mean when you said you were "a ball in your bed' as I too have been there, and I'm so happy for you and your family that things have changed so dramatically in this year … you've certainly bounced back! Best wishes on everything to come 🙂

They have changed dramatically! I am sorry that you can relate 🙁 Sullivan is a real character and I can't wait to see him in a big brother role.
