Somehow, even though I have major work to do to get our kid’s rooms ready, I keep tweaking things in my own master bedroom. Maybe I am preparing my hide-out?? I recently finished painting a faux moroccan tile stencil and added a new DIY lighting fixture to our bathroom and now I have added some family photos.
A local photographer took these for us last fall and I have been meaning to hang them forever. I grabbed 8 frames from the dollar store ($8, duh), sprayed them white (had the paint on hand), and purchased a matte board from a craft store ($6). Cutting the mats myself was a pain but I wanted them to appear more custom.
I mean, look at those shaggy cuties!
Have you completed any easy and inexpensive projects lately?

This is exactly what I have been looking for! Working on how to make family pictures in MC's Library look united. I think I can do this!!!!

Your boys are so cute and you know I love a bargain. Just updated a lamp with a sleek black shade from Le Target! Happy Monday Beth!

It was not something I really want to do again! It definitely saved money but was pretty tedious! I love the look too though
