This summer I hosted a series called DIY Summer School and I was joined by a really talented group of bloggers….
I chose each of these people for specific reasons and I was floored when they all jumped in with excitement. I knew they were all nice but it’s nerve wracking to ask someone to commit to weeks of forced creativity especially when they are all already juggling so much. But they did. And they blew my socks off week after week! Here’s a little recap of some of their magic…
Can you spy the DIY? Probably not and that’s because these cane vases are so good!
I love how Jennifer took such simple supplies and created something so beautiful and timeless!
Claire took a simple tray and created this beautiful serving piece.
It’s always the littlest details that make things special!
What can’t Kevin do? Do you know, because I don’t!
I know age is just a number but seriously he is in high school and consistently churns out amazing content including this mid-century modern bookshelf.
Lindsey is a new blog friend but I immediately related to her style.
I love how she took a boring corner and made it this magical little space for her son.
We ended the series with “Things Found in Nature” and these gold sticks by Sarah are just so simple and pretty. I love projects that can inspire anyone, of any talent level to just go out and make stuff! And look how beautifully she styled them…she’s magic!
I am still collecting myself after this IKEA hack from Laura!
She and her husband built these from the ground up and they are complete perfection.
It might have been the cute little model but, this was my favorite project of Mallory’s.
Having kids myself, I know the importance of them having their own space
to create so I just love this craft table!
And ps. you might notice Mallory’s blog name changed…go check out her new site!
And if you missed any of my projects here is a full gallery,

Thanks for all of you who linked-up also- it was so fun to see your projects!
