my favorite planners for 2016
My planner is my life line…it’s where I keep track of every appointment, school activity, blog post, client meeting, and even our meals sometimes. I really believe that organization, as hard as it can be to keep up, is the key to feeling much more at peace. I know that these days I could use my phone as my calendar but I have always preferred pen on paper. For me a couple things are key for a planner:
I don’t think organization needs to be over analyzed. Find system that works for you and just stick to it. Have one place to write all lists, one calendar to write all appointments, and keep sticky notes close by. The best habit I ever started is writing my to-do list for the day the night before. It helps tame my anxiety and I always at least start the day feeling like I can handle everything. What doesn’t get checked off just rolls into the next day. A lot rolls over around here but I’ve learned to let that go! Don’t overthink it- commit to being an organized list-maker and checker and don’t let your day run you! Lecture over 😉
