Hello friends! I have been slowly recharging my batteries and getting back to the world of blogging and working but it is a slow process. This weekend we had friends over stayed up til 2am playing Balderdash and reading TableTopics questions to each other. For those single/younger/childless people reading this I am sorry for how lame that sounds but for us that is a rager of a night. I have not been up that late in a long while and I am still not sure I can make logical sentences. #oldpeopleproblems
Was this Christmas break the longest one in history? Because I am pretty sure it was. Although I spent a fair amount of time annoyed with my kids, I can honestly say I also really enjoyed our downtime. I’m just going to put this out there…3 kids is a LOT. I say this knowing that I still may want one more but something about the dynamic of three is just crazy. I feel like I aged three years in 2013.
In 2014 I plan to just keep trucking away, juggling what I can and keeping things as manageable as possible. I am more keenly aware of the responsibility I have to stay sane for my family and that means learning how to manage my time better, how to say no, and how to take care of myself physically/mentally. All of my resolutions revolve around those things and I would write them out in more detail but…words are hard and stuff after my weekend. Regardless I am sure I will still be ready for my first break down by Feb 1st and I will have totally forgotten my resolutions until another season change rolls around 🙂
Anyways I have some finished projects to share with y’all starting this week, starting with one of my favorite playrooms ever so check back in as we get things rolling again here! Here is a peak at that playroom….

Beth, how have I missed that awesome green storage unit? I remember my kiddos making me nuts when they were little, but now that they're grown I really miss those days. They grow up waaaayy too fast. : (
