There are a few items that I have bought for my house that I really love so I wanted to share my review of them in case any of you are in the market.
($29-$49)
I own this bath mat in the citron color, which I don’t see for sale on their website anymore but,
this bath mat seems to be one of their regular items so maybe the other color options will be back.
The print goes with some many other patterns and styles and it is also so easy to care for…after a year or two of wear and tear, as well as both boys getting sick on it, it looks brand new.
You can throw it in the washer and it only gets softer WITHOUT losing color or it’s shape.
(*I have also used the similar Fez rug in client projects and it is great as well.)
++ IKEA Ektorp Corner Sofa ++
($799)
The couch survived our playroom for 3 years before moving front and center to our family room this past September. And yes, we have a white slip cover…with two boys and a dog.
The slip cover could not be easier to clean but in all honesty I only wash it about once every couple of months. It can withstand a lot (think Cheetos, cranberry juice, and sidewalk chalk.)
As for the structure, it is sturdy and the cushions keep their shape no matter how much WipeOut is performed on it.
++ IKEA Len crib sheets ++
($9.99/2-pack)
After three babies I can say without a doubt that these are my favorite crib sheets.
Plain and boring but extremely soft and, most importantly, so easy to get on and off.
They are made of a material similar to jersey knit so they are really stretchy.
No more cardio while changing a crib sheet!
++ Target bath towels ++
($9.99/each)
Nothing makes your house feel more luxurious than good bath towels.
I am on a mission to make ours an all-white-towel house so I can quickly wash and bleach in one load but, I grabbed a couple of these towels in Jubilee Blue for our guest bath.
It’s a great soothing color but, they also come in a variety of others.
Made by Thomas O’Brien, they are so soft yet still absorbent.
As mine have been washed, they have become more plush and fluffy.
